Consider a guided tour: If you want to learn more about the history and culture of Granada, consider joining a guided tour of the Alhambra or the city center.
Tourist info is near cathederal.
Parking App . you can pre-book parking on the apk2 App. Park near the old town its all easy walking in the centre.
You will need to take Photo ID to get in the Alhambra - don't forget your passport or driving license.
Its worth stopping over for a night, lots of very cheap airbnb or hotels. Stay near the cathedral or Plaza Nueva to be right in the centre or towards Albaicin which is a bit more bohemian.
Tapas some tricks Never ask for the menu straight away in tapas bars. Ask for a small beer and you should get a tapas dish with every beer. After 2 beers, you could move on to the next bar to see what their tapas is. Some Tapas bars are also restaurants - there is plenty of choice and you need to just experiment and let us know if you find any brilliant tapas bars! Restaurante Bar Leon near the cathedral has local authentic tapas - but there are lots and lots to try.
Wear comfortable shoes: You'll be doing a lot of walking, so make sure you have comfortable footwear!
