Our Andalusian Home in Jayena

Welcome to our place in Jayena, a proper home from home tucked away in the heart of the stunning Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara, and Alhama Natural Park. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, with brilliant countryside on your doorstep, the lovely coast not far away, and historic Granada just a short drive.

Being a traditional Andalusian village, it’s a great base for exploring. You're only about an hour and a quarter from Malaga Airport, 45 minutes from the incredible city of Granada, an hour from the beaches at Nerja, and just 75 minutes from the Sierra Nevada ski slopes if you fancy it!

Come on in – A place to relax and have some fun

Inside, you’ll find a comfy living room with a cosy wood-burning stove, perfect for snuggling up on cooler evenings. It has two bedrooms and a third one in a garden room, plus a brilliant games room with a pool table and a TV. There's plenty of space to spread out and relax, making it ideal for families or a few friends.

Fancy a quiet cuppa? The little internal courtyard is a lovely shady spot, we have recently built a modern garden space, or you can head up to the first-floor terrace to soak up the Andalusian sun. On a clear night, the stargazing is absolutely amazing.

Properly Andalusian, Properly Comfy

Like all the local houses, ours is cleverly designed to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter, thanks to those traditional thick walls. Downstairs, there’s a fully kitted-out kitchen with an electric cooker, fridge, and a washing machine, plus a handy little bathroom.
