A particular favourite is El Tigre which someimes has tables outside the Vetinary Clinic at the top of the square

The Los Tajos Gorge
One of Alhama's highlights is the impressive Los Tajos Gorge. You desend a steep hill from the village and walk along the gorge. A walk along the riverbed offers stunning views of the dramatic cliffs. The trail leads to the peaceful Pantaneta de Alhama lake, where you can relax and enjoy the lovely surroundings. Keep an eye out for the small chapel built into the rock face.
Thermal Baths and More
Alhama is renowned for its thermal baths, which are believed to have healing properties. The town's name itself derives from the Arabic word "al-hammah," meaning "the bath." Restaurante El Ventorro offers a very nice thermal bath experience. There is also area of hot bathing available in the river, near Balneario de Alhama de Granada, where warm water flows out from geothermal springs
